Just a quick note in the run up to the holidays: there will be a change to my posting schedule as both Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on a Wednesday, my regular blogging day, but I promise to keep my posts coming.
For all of us who write, be it a blog, articles or a book, what we wish for is for someone to read what we put out there for everyone to see. Every reader is a great gift to us, so from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by my site. You give me gifts throughout the year by being interested in what I write. That you share some of your precious time with me is a truly humbling thought. I hope my blog has offered you inspiration, advice, encouragement, ideas, support or perhaps just a mention of yourself (hello, my dear daughters!)
I will continue posting about bringing up bilingual children at least once a week next year and I am looking forward to have my book on the topic out in spring 2014. In the new year I will also be sending out a regular newsletter with more ideas on raising children to speak more than one language, links to and comments on interesting articles as well as updates on how my book progresses. Send me an email to multilingual.parenting.book at gmail.com (remove spaces around the @) and I will include you in the circulation of my newsletter.
For now I want to wish you a perfect holiday time, just the way you love it: with lots of fun activities or a chance to have some peace and quiet; in the hustle and bustle of your extended family, friends and neighbours or with only your nearest and dearest around you; with lots and lots of chocolate or just some small exquisite delicacies; with or without snow … and most importantly, a happy time indeed!
May the peace and power be with you.
Yours,
Rita
